CCTV TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Must have a degree in AV/Audio-Visual Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in CCTV installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Must have knowledge of Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems, including CCTV, access control, and security systems.
  • Familiarity with Qatar Ministry of Interior (MOI) and GCC standards is preferred.
  • AutoCAD skills are an advantage.
  • IT troubleshooting skills are preferred.
  • Must have strong technical problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Must be capable of working independently and coordinating with a technical team.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, test, and commission CCTV surveillance systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of CCTV equipment and related security systems.
  • Diagnose and repair faults involving cameras, recording devices, monitors, cabling, and network connections.
  • Install and maintain ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, and other security systems.
  • Configure and test CCTV cameras, recording systems, and associated equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, system layouts, and installation specifications.
  • Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, and other technical personnel during installation and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure installations comply with applicable technical requirements, MOI regulations, and relevant GCC standards.
  • Prepare service reports and document maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
  • Apply workplace safety procedures and maintain proper installation quality.
