CARPENTER
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of shipbuilding or ship repair outfitting experience
- Ability to read and understand ship accommodation drawings, blueprints, and technical plans
- Experience working with marine bulkhead frames, partitions, ceiling panels, baseboards, and trimmings
- Skilled in marine carpentry installation, fitting, and finishing works
- Knowledge of shipyard safety procedures and marine construction standards
- Physically fit and able to work in shipyard or marine environments
- Willing to undergo IELTS UKVI preparation and compliance requirements
Responsibilities:
- Carry out carpentry works in shipbuilding and ship repair projects
- Install and fit bulkhead frames, partitions, ceiling panels, and interior structures
- Perform finishing works such as trimming, baseboard installation, and panel alignment
- Read and interpret ship accommodation drawings and technical specifications
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with marine construction standards
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades in ship outfitting activities
- Follow all shipyard safety regulations and procedures
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in good condition
- Complete assigned tasks within project timelines and quality requirements
