Our employer in New Zealand is in need of the following position:

CARPENTER

Qualifications:

• 35 years of experience as a Carpenter, preferably with overseas work experience.
• Strong understanding of timber formwork, finishing, and structural carpentry.
• Ability to read and interpret site plans and drawings.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices in construction.
• Good to excellent English communication skills.
• Experience with bridge building or concrete preparation is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Perform timber formwork, including preparation and pouring of concrete.
• Assist in bridge building activities (advantageous if experienced).
• Execute finishing tasks, including gypsum board installation, framing, doors, and windows.
• Read and interpret site plans and technical drawings accurately.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards on-site.
• Coordinate with other trades to maintain workflow and project deadlines.
