CLEANER

Qualifications:

• Must be 35 years old or below.
• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is an advantage.
• Applicants with 0–3 years of cleaning or janitorial experience may be considered for entry- to mid-level positions, subject to employer evaluation.
• Must be physically fit and capable of performing routine cleaning and janitorial duties.
• Must be willing to work in a professional school environment.
• Must be responsible, reliable, hardworking, and attentive to cleanliness and safety.
• Must be able to follow instructions, workplace procedures, and supervisor’s directions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, common areas, and other assigned school facilities.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, wipe, disinfect, and sanitize floors and surfaces.
• Clean and maintain furniture, fixtures, windows, doors, and other designated areas.
• Collect and properly dispose of waste and garbage according to school procedures.
• Replenish cleaning and sanitation supplies when necessary.
• Use cleaning tools, equipment, and approved cleaning products safely and properly.
• Keep assigned areas neat, orderly, and presentable at all times.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, safety hazards, or other concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition.
• Follow workplace hygiene, health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with cleaning requirements during school activities, events, and special occasions.
• Perform other cleaning and janitorial duties as assigned by the supervisor or school management.
