CAREWORKER
Qualifications:
- Open to:
- Graduates of 2-Year Practical Nursing programs.
- Graduates and undergraduates of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Graduates and undergraduates of Midwifery.
- Graduates and undergraduates of Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, and Medical Technology.
- Former JPEPA (Japan-Philippines Economic Partnership Agreement) and former TITP (Technical Intern Training Program) participants are welcome to apply.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Compassionate, patient-centered, and committed to providing quality care.
- Physically fit and capable of assisting patients with mobility and daily care activities.
- Willing to work in shifts, including weekends, holidays, and night duty when required.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Willing to work and adapt to Japanese healthcare standards and culture.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients and elderly residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Support patients with mobility, transfers, walking, and the use of wheelchairs or other mobility aids.
- Assist with feeding and meal preparation while monitoring dietary requirements and nutritional intake.
- Monitor patients’ physical condition and promptly report any changes to nurses or healthcare professionals.
- Assist with rehabilitation exercises and mobility programs under the guidance of medical staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients and residents.
- Help change bed linens, organize patient rooms, and maintain cleanliness of care areas.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement to patients and residents.
- Record daily care activities and maintain accurate documentation according to hospital procedures.
- Follow infection prevention, health, safety, and hygiene protocols at all times.
- Assist during medical examinations, patient transportation, and emergency situations when required.
- Collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Respect patient privacy, dignity, confidentiality, and cultural values.
- Participate in training programs and continuous professional development.
- Perform other patient care duties assigned by supervisors.
