Workforce-APSCO (Arabian Petroleum Supply Company) is seeking a skilled Fueling Operator Technician (Aviation) to safely and efficiently perform aircraft refueling operations in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating aviation fueling equipment, ensuring compliance with aviation safety regulations, quality assurance standards, and fueling procedures while maintaining the highest levels of operational safety and customer service.
Fueling Operator Technician (Aviation)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Fueling Operator Technician or in aircraft fueling operations.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Thorough understanding of aircraft fueling procedures and aviation fuel handling practices.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and aviation safety procedures.
- Familiar with airport safety regulations, airside operations, and fueling protocols.
- Strong awareness of occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Able to operate aviation fueling vehicles and specialized fueling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with strong observation and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and emergency call-outs when required.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform safe and efficient refueling and defueling of commercial, private, and military aircraft in accordance with approved operating procedures.
- Operate aviation fuel trucks, hydrant dispensers, refuelers, and other fueling equipment.
- Conduct pre-operation and post-operation inspections of fueling vehicles and equipment.
- Verify fuel type, fuel quantity, and customer requirements before fueling operations.
- Connect and disconnect fueling hoses, nozzles, bonding cables, and grounding equipment following standard operating procedures.
- Monitor fueling operations to ensure accurate fuel delivery and prevent spills, leaks, or contamination.
- Perform fuel quality control checks and ensure compliance with aviation fuel quality standards.
- Complete fueling tickets, delivery records, inspection reports, and operational documentation accurately.
- Report equipment defects, fuel contamination, safety hazards, or operational issues immediately to supervisors.
- Follow Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and aviation fuel handling procedures.
- Comply with airport regulations, aviation industry standards, environmental policies, and company safety procedures.
- Participate in emergency response activities, spill containment, and fire prevention measures when required.
- Maintain cleanliness of fueling vehicles, equipment, and assigned work areas.
- Coordinate effectively with pilots, ground handlers, air traffic operations, and airport personnel.
- Attend safety meetings, operational briefings, and mandatory training programs.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisors or management.
