Stay-In Caregiver
Qualifications:
- Must possess a TESDA Caregiving NC II Certificate.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience in home healthcare, hospital, or long-term care facilities after obtaining the NC II certificate.
- Strong patient care, caregiving, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent professional communication skills.
- Confident and comfortable assisting and communicating with patients of different ages and medical conditions.
- Compassionate, patient, trustworthy, and committed to providing quality care.
- Physically fit and capable of assisting patients with mobility and daily care activities.
- Able to work independently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Willing to work as a stay-in caregiver in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, walking, and positioning to ensure comfort and prevent injuries.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals based on the patient’s dietary requirements.
- Assist patients with feeding and monitor food and fluid intake when necessary.
- Administer prescribed medications as instructed by healthcare professionals or family members.
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, physical condition, and daily activities, and report any changes promptly.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement to improve patients’ quality of life.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties, including cleaning the patient’s room, changing bed linens, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment.
- Accompany patients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or other scheduled activities when required.
- Follow individualized care plans established by healthcare professionals or family members.
- Observe infection prevention, hygiene, health, and safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and respect their dignity, privacy, and cultural values.
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, nurses, and healthcare providers.
- Respond appropriately during emergencies and seek medical assistance when necessary.
- Perform other caregiving duties assigned by the employer.
