Caregiver

Qualifications:

• Must have at least five (5) years of childcare experience.
• Background in autism care, occupational therapy, or recreational therapy is highly preferred.
• Must hold a TESDA National Certificate II (NC II) in Caregiving.
• Must have First Aid and CPR certification or be willing to obtain the required certification.
• Must be passionate about working with children.
• Must be flexible, dependable, and solution-oriented.
• Must be a non-smoker.
• Must be comfortable with pets, if applicable.
• Must demonstrate patience, good communication skills, and a caring attitude toward children.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, compassionate, and age-appropriate care for children.
• Supervise children and help ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
• Assist children with daily routines and personal care, as needed.
• Organize age-appropriate recreational, educational, and developmental activities.
• Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development through positive interaction.
• Apply appropriate care strategies when working with children who have special needs, when applicable.
• Follow established childcare procedures and maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
• Monitor children’s behavior and communicate relevant observations to parents or designated supervisors.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established safety procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism when handling children’s personal information.
• Use First Aid and CPR skills when necessary and within the scope of training.
