Carpenter Automotive & Transport Limited / Boroko Motors is looking for an experienced Budget Branch Operations Manager (Fleet Management) to oversee branch operations, fleet management activities, and sales performance in Papua New Guinea. This position is ideal for professionals with strong leadership, operational management, and automotive industry experience who can drive business growth while ensuring excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

BUDGET BRANCH OPERATIONS MANAGER (FLEET MANAGEMENT)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in fleet management, automotive operations, branch management, or sales management.
• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Business Administration, Management, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Accountancy, Education, or other related fields.
• Previous experience in automotive dealership operations, fleet management, vehicle rental, or finance and insurance (F&I) management is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent sales, negotiation, customer relationship, and business development abilities.
• Knowledge of fleet operations, vehicle inventory management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and business management systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the overall operations of the fleet management branch to achieve business objectives and profitability.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies, business plans, and operational goals to maximize fleet rental and vehicle sales performance.
• Supervise and mentor sales, operations, and administrative staff to ensure high productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, fleet customers, and business partners.
• Handle customer inquiries, negotiate contracts, resolve concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Monitor fleet utilization, vehicle availability, maintenance schedules, and asset performance to optimize operational efficiency.
• Oversee vehicle inventory, fleet acquisitions, disposals, and coordination with service and maintenance teams.
• Prepare branch budgets, monitor financial performance, control operating costs, and ensure revenue targets are achieved.
• Analyze sales performance, market trends, fleet utilization, and operational reports to identify growth opportunities and improve business strategies.
• Coordinate marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and business development initiatives to expand the customer base.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Prepare regular management reports on branch performance, sales results, financial metrics, and operational improvements.
