Pacific International Hospital is seeking an experienced Echocardiographer / Cardiac Sonographer to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations that support the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The successful candidate will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate, high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications:

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine, Medical Science, or a related field (as specified by the employer).
• Bachelor of Science in Echocardiography Technology (ECT).
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in echocardiography or cardiac sonography.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic ultrasound techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures as prescribed by physicians.
• Prepare patients for echocardiographic examinations by explaining the procedure and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Acquire high-quality cardiac ultrasound images using specialized echocardiography equipment.
• Analyze echocardiographic images and identify abnormalities in cardiac structure and function.
• Document examination findings and report results to cardiologists for interpretation and diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate patient records, procedure logs, and image documentation.
• Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and quality control of echocardiography equipment.
• Follow hospital policies, infection prevention protocols, and patient confidentiality requirements.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing professional education.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Cardiology Department.
