Boom Truck Operator/Driver

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Boom Truck Operator or similar heavy equipment role.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Experience in construction, oil & gas, infrastructure, or industrial projects is an advantage.
• Knowledge of lifting operations, rigging procedures, and equipment safety standards.
• Ability to interpret load handling requirements and follow lifting plans.
• Overseas experience is preferred, but local experience is accepted.
• Must provide valid proof of experience such as Certificates of Employment (COE), licenses, or project records.
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding site conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Operate boom truck equipment safely and efficiently for lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting materials on site.
• Perform lifting operations in accordance with safety standards, site procedures, and supervisor instructions.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure the boom truck is in proper working condition before use.
• Assess load weights and ensure proper rigging and secure lifting before any operation.
• Coordinate with riggers, signalmen, and site supervisors using standard hand signals and communication protocols.
• Safely position and stabilize the boom truck before performing lifting activities.
• Transport materials and equipment within the worksite as required by project operations.
• Follow all occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
• Maintain daily logs of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance requirements.
• Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor or maintenance team.
