Bobst Folding and Gluing Operator

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating Folding Gluing Machines
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations =. Attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, job tickets, and schematics. Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with multiple types of Folding Gluing Machines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred Education/Training Vocational/technical training (printing, mechanical, packaging) (preferred)
• Work Experience on Bobst folder‑gluer machines or similar (preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Set up and run Bobst folding-gluing machines (e.g., vision fold, Bobst Media and Visionfold).
• Set up and run Bobst folding-gluing machines (e.g., vision fold, Bobst Media and Visionfold).
• Handle straight-line, crash-lock bottom, 4-corner, and 6-corner jobs efficiently. Perform quality checks for glue, folds, alignment, and box integrity. Troubleshoot and resolve machine or gluing issues during runs.
• Perform basic maintenance and keep machines in good working condition. Meet daily production goals while ensuring minimal waste.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area.
• 2+ years of experience on Bobst folder-gluers with complex carton styles. Strong mechanical skills and eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and follow job specs.
• Knowledge of quality control and safety procedures in post-press operations.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
