Babysitter

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Babysitter, Nanny, Childcare Worker, or in a similar role.
• Must have proven experience caring for infants and young children.
• At least a high school graduate.
• Must be at least 24 years old.
• Able to communicate effectively in basic English.
• Patient, caring, responsible, trustworthy, and genuinely enjoys working with children.
• Knowledge of basic first aid is an advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of caring for active infants and young children.
• Willing to live-in and work in a private household.
• Female applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and responsible care for infants and children in a safe, clean, and nurturing environment.
• Prepare and serve meals, snacks, milk, and formula according to the child’s age, dietary needs, and daily schedule.
• Assist children with bathing, dressing, feeding, diaper changing, toileting, and maintaining personal hygiene.
• Supervise children during playtime, naps, and daily activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Plan and engage children in age-appropriate educational, recreational, and creative activities that support their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Help children with homework, reading, and school-related activities when required.
• Monitor the children’s health, behavior, and daily routine, and promptly report any concerns or emergencies to the employer.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of children’s bedrooms, play areas, toys, clothing, and personal belongings.
• Perform light housekeeping duties related to the children, including washing children’s clothes, cleaning feeding bottles, utensils, and other childcare items.
• Follow the employer’s childcare routines, household rules, and parenting preferences.
• Practice proper hygiene, food safety, and child safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and respect for the family’s privacy.
• Perform other childcare-related duties assigned by the employer.
