United International Transportation Company is seeking qualified Auto Painters for deployment to Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing vehicle surfaces, applying paint coatings, restoring vehicle finishes, and ensuring high-quality painting work in accordance with automotive industry standards.
AUTO PAINTER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years of work experience as an Auto Painter or in a related automotive painting field.
- Must possess at least a Vocational or Technical Certificate related to Automotive Technology or a similar field.
- Experience in vehicle surface preparation, paint application, and finishing techniques.
- Knowledge of paint mixing, color matching, and spray painting procedures.
- Familiarity with wet sanding, polishing, and paint correction techniques.
- Ability to remove and reinstall moldings, trims, and vehicle accessories.
- Knowledge of automotive painting equipment, tools, and safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
- Physically fit and capable of performing automotive painting tasks.
- Willing to work in Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and removing old paint or damaged coatings.
- Remove sealants and protective materials from vehicle surfaces before painting.
- Remove gloss from intermediate paint coats using wet sandpaper to ensure proper adhesion of succeeding coats.
- Mix and match paint colors according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
- Apply primer, base coat, clear coat, and finishing materials using spray guns and painting equipment.
- Remove and reinstall chrome moldings, trims, and other vehicle accessories as required during the painting process.
- Inspect painted surfaces and perform touch-ups, polishing, and finishing work to achieve high-quality results.
- Repair minor surface imperfections, scratches, dents, and paint defects before and after painting.
- Maintain painting tools, spray equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
- Follow safety procedures when handling paints, solvents, chemicals, and painting equipment.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Prepare and maintain records of painting and repair activities.
