Safe Track Contracting Company (STCE) is seeking experienced Auto Electricians to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair the electrical and electronic systems of heavy equipment and commercial vehicles. The successful candidates will ensure the reliable operation of construction machinery by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical faults, and carrying out repairs in accordance with industry standards and workplace safety requirements.

AUTO ELECTRICIAN

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience as an Auto Electrician.
• Strong experience maintaining and repairing electrical systems of heavy equipment and heavy vehicles.
• Extensive knowledge of starters, alternators, batteries, wiring systems, control panels, sensors, relays, and lighting systems.
• Skilled in electronic fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in using diagnostic scanners, multimeters, and electrical testing equipment.
• Basic knowledge of automotive and heavy equipment air-conditioning electrical systems is preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and capable of working in construction and industrial environments.
• Gulf experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical systems of heavy equipment, including cranes, excavators, loaders, bulldozers, trucks, generators, and similar machinery.
• Inspect and troubleshoot starters, alternators, batteries, wiring harnesses, control panels, sensors, relays, switches, and lighting systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and electrical inspections to minimize equipment downtime.
• Use diagnostic scanners, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical testing equipment to identify faults accurately.
• Repair or replace damaged electrical wiring, connectors, electronic components, and control modules.
• Install, test, and commission new electrical and electronic components as required.
• Diagnose and repair charging, starting, ignition, and power distribution systems.
• Perform electrical fault finding on engine management and machine control systems.
• Assist in diagnosing basic air-conditioning electrical system faults when required.
• Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, and repair documentation.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with manufacturer specifications and workplace safety standards.
• Maintain workshop tools, testing equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Coordinate with mechanics and maintenance personnel to complete equipment repairs efficiently.
• Perform other electrical maintenance duties assigned by management.
