Motibhai & Company Limited is seeking a qualified and experienced Assistant Restaurant & Duty Manager to support daily restaurant operations and ensure efficient, high-quality customer service. The successful candidate will assist in supervising restaurant staff, maintaining service standards, managing daily operations, and supporting the team in delivering a positive dining experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.

ASSISTANT RESTAURANT & DUTY MANAGER

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or Culinary Arts.
• Experience working in fast-food restaurants, Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), or hospitality establishments.
• Experience in leading and supporting a team in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to supervise and motivate employees in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Good understanding of restaurant operations, food service, quality standards, and customer service.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple operational priorities.
• Reliable, professional, flexible, and committed to maintaining high service standards.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays according to business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant and food service operations.
• Supervise and support restaurant staff during opening, operating, and closing shifts.
• Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure staff are properly deployed according to operational requirements.
• Ensure efficient and friendly customer service at all times.
• Monitor restaurant operations to ensure food quality, service, cleanliness, and presentation meet company standards.
• Assist in managing fast-food and quick-service restaurant (QSR) operations.
• Support the implementation and enforcement of company policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service concerns professionally and promptly.
• Assist with staff training, coaching, performance monitoring, and development.
• Lead and motivate team members to maintain productivity, teamwork, and high service standards.
• Monitor food preparation, portion control, product quality, and proper food handling procedures.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure orders are prepared and served accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock receiving, storage, and proper product handling.
• Assist with cash handling, point-of-sale transactions, daily sales reconciliation, and other administrative duties as required.
• Ensure the restaurant maintains proper cleanliness, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
• Conduct regular checks of dining, kitchen, service, and customer areas to ensure operational readiness.
• Assist in managing staff schedules, attendance, breaks, and shift coverage.
• Act as the duty manager when required and ensure smooth restaurant operations in the absence of senior management.
• Identify operational issues and recommend practical solutions to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare or assist with operational reports and communicate important matters to restaurant management.
• Perform other restaurant management and supervisory duties as assigned.
