Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as an Arborist, Tree Climber, Tree Lopper, or in Vegetation Management.
- Experience operating chainsaws, wood chippers, stump grinders, pole saws, or elevated work platforms.
- Strong knowledge of safe tree pruning, tree removal, and arboricultural practices.
- Experience working around powerlines or utility vegetation management is highly advantageous.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, risk assessments, and safety procedures.
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Good English communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Valid passport and willingness to prepare employment certificates, school records, police clearance, and other visa-related documents.
Responsibilities:
- Perform tree pruning, trimming, shaping, and removal using safe arboricultural techniques.
- Conduct vegetation management around roads, parks, residential areas, and utility corridors.
- Operate chainsaws, wood chippers, stump grinders, elevated work platforms (EWPs), and other arboriculture equipment.
- Work safely around live powerlines while following industry procedures and safety regulations.
- Assess tree health, identify hazards, and recommend appropriate maintenance or removal.
- Perform climbing and aerial tree work using ropes, harnesses, and rigging equipment when required.
- Complete daily equipment inspections, maintenance, and site safety documentation.
- Ensure all work complies with workplace safety, environmental, and quality standards.
