Nature’s Claw For Pets Est. is seeking a skilled and compassionate Animal Groomer to provide professional grooming services for dogs, cats, and other companion animals. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining pets’ hygiene, health, and appearance by performing grooming services according to breed standards or customer preferences while ensuring the safety and comfort of every animal.

ANIMAL GROOMER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Animal Groomer, Pet Groomer, or in a related role.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Skilled in nail trimming, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, bathing, drying, brushing, and coat styling.
• Proficient in using grooming equipment, including clippers, shears, dryers, brushes, and nail grinders.
• Knowledge of breed-specific grooming techniques and pet handling practices.
• Familiarity with proper sanitation, sterilization, and animal welfare standards.
• Patient, gentle, and confident in handling animals of different sizes and temperaments.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and handle pets safely.
• Willing to work in Saudi Arabia under the employer’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Clip or grind pets’ nails safely and accurately.
• Clean pets’ ears and inspect for signs of infection or irritation.
• Brush pets’ teeth and promote proper oral hygiene.
• Bathe pets using appropriate shampoos and grooming products based on coat and skin type.
• Blow-dry, brush, detangle, and groom pet coats to maintain a clean and healthy appearance.
• Shear, trim, and style fur using clippers, scissors, and grooming tools according to breed standards or owner requests.
• Examine pets for skin conditions, parasites, wounds, or abnormalities and report concerns to supervisors or pet owners.
• Handle animals calmly and safely to reduce stress during grooming procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tables, tools, cages, and workstations.
• Sterilize grooming equipment before and after each use to maintain hygiene and prevent cross-contamination.
• Recommend appropriate grooming schedules and pet care products when necessary.
• Follow animal welfare standards and workplace health and safety regulations at all times.
• Perform other grooming and animal care duties assigned by management.
