AIRCON AND CHILLER TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience is required.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial air-conditioning, refrigeration, and chiller systems.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, refrigeration cycles, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and thermostatic controls.
- Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and HVAC safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to emergency maintenance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair commercial air-conditioning, refrigeration, and large chiller systems.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure efficient and continuous operation of HVAC equipment.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects, malfunctions, and system performance issues.
- Repair or replace damaged components, equipment, and system parts as required.
- Install new air-conditioning systems, refrigeration units, and related equipment.
- Adjust, calibrate, and test thermostatic controls and system settings for optimal performance.
- Clean and service blowers, coils, filters, motors, condensers, and other HVAC components.
- Inspect and check the condition and tension of belts, motors, and mechanical assemblies.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and equipment documentation.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company safety policies, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of tools, equipment, and work areas at all times.
