PROJECT ENGINEER – 66/11KV ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of working experience.
• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar field.
• Male applicants preferred.
• Experience in HV/MV systems (11 kV – 66 kV preferred).
• Exposure to substation or cable installation projects.
• Knowledge of HV/MV electrical systems and construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Basic project planning and reporting skills.

Responsibilities:

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of 66 kV electrical infrastructure construction, including:
  • Cable systems
  • GIS substations
  • 66/11 kV transformers
  • 11 kV switchgear
• Ensure works are carried out safely, per specifications, and on schedule.
• Assist Project Manager in daily project execution and coordination.
• Review construction drawings, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Supervise site installation works for compliance with specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants on site activities.
• Monitor project progress, report on schedule, risks, and issues.
• Support procurement, material inspection, and delivery tracking.
• Witness installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and permit-to-work (PTW) systems.
• Prepare site reports, as-built drawings, and handover documentation.
