AGRICULTURAL IRRIGATION SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred.
• Bachelor’s or College Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in agricultural irrigation management.
• Knowledge of irrigation infrastructure, water distribution systems, pumps, valves, and drainage management.
• Ability to lead and supervise field staff efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain irrigation infrastructure, including pipes, pumps, valves, and water distribution systems, to prevent malfunctions.
• Develop and implement effective watering schedules to ensure crops receive adequate hydration.
• Assign daily tasks to general workers, such as setting up irrigation equipment, opening valves, and cleaning drainage systems.
  Inspect irrigation equipment regularly to ensure operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with farm managers and agricultural engineers to optimize irrigation performance.
• Train and guide field staff on proper irrigation techniques and safety practices.
