Lee Group of Companies is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant for an overseas employment opportunity in Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, recording and classifying financial transactions, maintaining a complete set of accounting books, and supporting timely financial reporting.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required.
- Must have a Bachelor’s / College Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.
- Sound skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using financial accounting systems such as QuickBooks is preferred.
- Ability to maintain a complete set of accounting books.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
- Ability to properly calculate, classify, and record accounting transactions.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to meet financial reporting deadlines.
- Ability to analyze financial information and identify discrepancies.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Responsibilities:
- Record and maintain accurate accounting records for company transactions.
- Ensure all financial transactions are properly checked, supported, recorded, and accounted for.
- Maintain a complete set of accounting books and financial records.
- Ensure proper calculation, classification, and accounting treatment of transactions.
- Review accounting entries for accuracy and completeness.
- Organize and maintain supporting financial documents and records.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and accounting schedules.
- Monitor accounting activities to ensure financial reporting deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with factory personnel and relevant departments regarding financial information and reporting requirements.
- Monitor and ensure factories submit required financial information within established deadlines.
- Assist with account reconciliation and verification of financial records.
- Use Microsoft Excel and financial systems to prepare, organize, and analyze accounting information.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information.
- Identify discrepancies or unusual transactions and report them to the appropriate supervisor.
- Follow company accounting policies, procedures, and applicable financial reporting requirements.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
