Total Energies is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join its operations in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and performing maintenance activities on HVAC systems while ensuring compliance with company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, approved operating procedures, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Must hold a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Must possess a Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC), BTS/DUT, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial or commercial HVAC systems.
  • Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices, HVAC controls, and mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with Permit-to-Work systems, HSE regulations, and standard maintenance procedures.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and maintenance contractors.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on HVAC systems and related equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults to ensure the reliable operation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities assigned under his responsibility.
  • Assist and coordinate with specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC) during maintenance and repair activities.
  • Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with COMPANY HSE regulations, including Work Permit procedures.
  • Follow approved operating procedures, technical specifications, and industry best practices during maintenance operations.
  • Inspect HVAC equipment, identify potential issues, and recommend corrective actions to improve system reliability.
    Prepare maintenance reports, service records, and documentation for completed work.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, testing equipment, and spare parts.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and operational efficiency.
