Australian Skilled Migration is seeking an experienced 4×4 Off-Road Mechanic to perform specialized vehicle modifications, upgrades, and maintenance for off-road and dealership-based vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all installations and modifications meet safety, performance, and industry standards.

4×4 OFF-ROAD MECHANIC

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a 4×4 off-road vehicle mechanic.
At least 5 years’ experience working in a dealership environment.
Experience must be dealership-based (can be from multiple employers).
No more than 1-year employment gap if currently unemployed.
Strong knowledge of suspension systems, 12V automotive electronics, and off-road recovery equipment.
Familiarity with brands such as ARB, Ironman, and Rhino.
Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
At least 1 year of college education or completion of a 1-year vocational course.

Responsibilities:

Perform full 4×4 vehicle setup, including installation of lift kits and suspension geometry adjustments.
Install and mount 4×4 accessory upgrade kits (e.g., ARB, Ironman, Rhino).
Install 12V accessory systems and high-capacity power inverters.
Carry out diagnostic work, repairs, and performance enhancements on off-road vehicles.
Ensure all modifications comply with safety and performance standards.
Work in accordance with dealership procedures and manufacturer specifications.
Maintain high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in all installations.
