INTERNATIONAL TRUCK DRIVER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver (international experience is an advantage)
  • At least a high school graduate
  • Valid LTO Driver’s License with Restriction Code C+E
  • Strong knowledge of road safety and transport regulations
  • Ability to travel across multiple European countries
  • Responsible, disciplined, and detail-oriented
  • Good communication skills in English (preferred)
  • Deployment in Latvia with routes across EU and EEC countries
  • Work involves long-haul driving and extended travel periods

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspection of the assigned truck, trailer, and work equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle before, during, and after trips
  • Communicate consistently with company representatives regarding work-related matters
  • Plan routes effectively, including fuel stops, parking, and loading/unloading points
  • Ensure compliance with driving hours, rest periods, and international transport regulations
  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports as required
  • Assist in loading and unloading of cargo when necessary
  • Ensure proper and secure loading of goods
  • Manage expenses (fuel, tolls, parking) responsibly with proper coordination
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including CMR and transport-related paperwork
  • Continuously improve driving and professional skills
