Al Masaood Automobiles Company LLC is seeking qualified Auto Painters to perform professional vehicle painting and refinishing work. The successful candidates should have experience working in an automotive dealership and be capable of preparing vehicle surfaces, applying paint and finishing materials, and maintaining high-quality workmanship standards.
AUTO PAINTER
Qualifications:
- Male or Female applicants are welcome.
- 2-year diploma or any relevant vocational certificate.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an automotive dealership.
- Practical experience in automotive painting and refinishing.
- Knowledge of vehicle surface preparation, paint mixing, spraying, color matching, and finishing.
- Ability to use automotive painting tools and equipment.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good understanding of workshop safety procedures.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of performing automotive painting and refinishing duties.
- Automotive painting or body repair certification is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and repairing imperfections.
- Inspect vehicle body surfaces to identify scratches, dents, corrosion, and other defects requiring preparation.
- Mix and prepare paints, primers, thinners, and other refinishing materials according to specifications.
- Apply primer, basecoat, paint, and clearcoat using appropriate spray-painting equipment.
- Match paint colors accurately according to manufacturer or dealership requirements.
- Perform blending and refinishing to achieve a consistent color and finish.
- Operate spray guns, sanding equipment, polishing tools, and other auto painting equipment safely.
- Inspect finished paintwork for defects such as runs, uneven coating, color mismatch, dust, or imperfections.
- Polish and buff painted surfaces to achieve the required finish.
- Follow manufacturer repair specifications and workshop procedures.
- Maintain proper cleanliness and organization of the paint preparation and work areas.
- Properly handle and store paints, solvents, and other materials.
- Follow workplace safety, environmental, and hazardous-material handling procedures.
- Maintain painting tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Coordinate with body repair technicians and other workshop personnel.
- Complete assigned vehicle painting and refinishing work within required timelines.
