AUDIT SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and a CPA license, ACCA license, or other suitable equivalent, in good standing
• Ability to supervise the assistants and ability to lead/manage a vast array of engagements/projects.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate audit engagements, define audit objectives, identify key risks, and develop tailored testing programs.
• Lead and supervise audit staff, assigning tasks, reviewing workpapers, providing guidance and mentorship, and ensuring adherence to professional standards.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management practices, and governance processes within the organization.
• Conduct financial and operational audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Identify root causes of business-related problems, document findings clearly, and recommend corrective actions and practical remediation steps with realistic timelines.
• Prepare comprehensive audit work papers, findings, and reports, and communicate audit progress and issues to senior management.
• Coach and develop junior auditors through feedback and training, ensuring team members meet quality and time targets.
• Ensure all audit work is performed in accordance with applicable auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
