PIPING ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• EX CCC CANDIDATES CAN APPLY ONLY
• 5–10 years in piping design/engineering (oil & gas preferred).
• Knowledge of 3D modeling software (PDMS, SP3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D).

Responsibilities:

• A Piping Engineer is responsible for the design, development, installation, and maintenance of piping systems used in oil & gas facilities, petrochemical plants, refineries, and industrial projects
• The role involves ensuring piping systems comply with international codes, client specifications, and Saudi Aramco/SABIC standards while maintaining safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Design & Engineering Develop piping layouts, isometric drawings, and material specifications.
• Perform stress analysis and flexibility analysis of piping systems. Select piping materials, valves, fittings, and supports as per project requirements..
• Prepare MTO (Material Take-Off) and coordinate with procurement.
• Project Coordination Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, electrical, process, instrumentation).
• Review vendor drawings and ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards (ASME, API, ASTM).
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors (often with Aramco/SABIC)..
• Construction & Site Support Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, hydro-testing, and commissioning.
• Conduct site visits to resolve design and construction issues. Ensure as-built documentation is properly updated.
• Quality & Safety Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, ASME B31.3, B31.1, API codes, and local regulations. Follow safety guidelines and participate in HSE reviews and risk assessments
• Documentation & Reporting
• Prepare engineering deliverables: datasheets, specifications, design calculations, and reports.
• Maintain project documentation and submit progress reports to project managers.
