Software Programmer

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in web application development
  • Strong proficiency in either: PHP with extensive experience in the Laravel framework. or Node.js and React.js.
  • Expertise in JavaScript and experience with jQuery
  • Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3)
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of projects
  • Excellent time management skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker).
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using your expertise in any programming language (ex. PHP, Node.js)
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code primarily in JavaScript and leverage libraries like jQuery as needed
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and functional solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing web applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
  • Implement and maintain APIs and integrate with various third-party services
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and industry best practices
  • Actively participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
