TECHNICIAN LIGHT VEHICLES

Qualifications:

• Education: Higher education, University
• Experience: At least 15 years of experience in a similar job.
• Language: Very high level of English required
• Attestation: HEV1 attestation is nice to have – if they do not have this, they will need to follow training and pass the exam in Belgium.
• This is a certificate they can work on electrical vehicles. If they have HEV 2 of 3, that is also ok

Responsibilities:

• As an expert, you detect and analyze technical issues in vehicles using modern diagnostic equipment. You work closely with your colleagues to
  do this.
• You are responsible for finding solutions 2 on the identified problems and carrying out the necessary repairs.
• Keeping the team’s knowledge up to date is also on your to-do list.
• Finally, you ensure a complete overview of your completed work and report this 2 of the workshop manager.
• You can work with diagnostic equipment and are a problem solver
• In principle, the Diagnostic technician will make the diagnose and then give the work to a car technician, who will solve the problems.
• The diagnostic technician is a higher profiles then a regular car technician who does car repair and maintenance
