CARPENTER

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of working experience as a carpenter is required.
• Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Education/Teaching/Training or similar fields.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Good attention to detail and ability to maintain quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Design and install cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall, and insulation.
• Install fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges, and closures.
• Select appropriate lumber based on size, durability, and project requirements.
• Source and recommend wood materials that fit the customer’s budget and preferred style.
• Measure, cut, and assemble wood components using hand and power tools.
• Ensure all carpentry work meets project specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools.
