CONCRETE PLACER (LAYER)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years work experience
• Must have Philippine Driver’s license with the restriction code of 12.
• Must be able to work long hours and overtime as required.

Responsibilities:

• Formwork for concrete and laying steel reinforcement.
• Pouring, spreading and levelling concrete.
• Tamping, smoothing, shaping and sealing concrete.
• Operating trowelling machines to float, trowel and polish concrete surfaces.
• Forming expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers and straight edges.
• Installing fixtures in concrete such as anchor bolts, steel plates and door sills Setting up moulds and forms for concrete.
• Spreading and levelling concrete pour.
• Monitoring temperature of the concrete.
• Finishing of concrete surfaces.
• Experience in steel fixing; working with rebar/reinforcement steel.
• Fine finishes concrete by floating, trowelling, edging and brushing in accordance with specifications.
• Utilize hand tools and non-complex small power tools and performs minor maintenance as required.
• Performing other related duties such as concrete pumping and linesman duties, as required from time to time.
• Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.
• Maintaining excellent and professional customer relations.
• Represent the Company through efficient work and friendly, courteous service.
• Ensuring daily job sheets are complete and accurate and then forward to the Operations Manager for processing.
