Fire Truck Design Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire truck design or a similar industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for fire safety and a commitment to making a difference.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop fire truck components and systems in accordance with industry standards and customer specifications.
• Conduct calculations and analyses to ensure the functionality, performance, and safety of your designs.
• Prepare engineering drawings and documentation for manufacturing.
• Review and approve shop drawings and submittals from vendors.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize designs and production processes.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in fire truck design.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
