Fire Pump Technician

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of +3 years of experience in fire pump assembly, maintenance, and repair.
• Experience working in a production environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of fire pump operation and principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be physically fit to perform the essential functions of the job, which may include lifting heavy equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, and test fire pumps according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on fire pumps.
• Conduct performance testing and ensure fire pumps meet all operational requirements.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with fire pumps to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure a safe work environment.
