Fire Pump Technician
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of +3 years of experience in fire pump assembly, maintenance, and repair.
- Experience working in a production environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of fire pump operation and principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be physically fit to perform the essential functions of the job, which may include lifting heavy equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and test fire pumps according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on fire pumps.
- Conduct performance testing and ensure fire pumps meet all operational requirements.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with fire pumps to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure a safe work environment.
