ood Work is seeking a skilled Chef specializing in Mediterranean Cuisine to join its team in Croatia. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic Mediterranean dishes, maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene, and supporting the efficient operation of the kitchen.

CHEF (Mediterranean Cuisine)

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience is required.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Proven experience in preparing Mediterranean cuisine, including Italian specialties such as pasta, pizza, risotto, seafood, grilled dishes, and sauces.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Ability to supervise kitchen operations and train junior kitchen staff.
• Must possess a valid passport with at least two (2) years of remaining validity.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook authentic Mediterranean dishes, including pasta, pizza, risotto, seafood, grilled specialties, sauces, and other regional menu items.
• Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and presented in accordance with restaurant quality standards.
• Develop, maintain, and consistently follow standardized recipes and portion control procedures.
• Supervise daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and smooth workflow.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing team to ensure the availability of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
• Train, mentor, and guide kitchen staff in Mediterranean food preparation techniques and kitchen best practices.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of all food items to maintain freshness and prevent contamination.
• Work closely with management to maintain customer satisfaction through consistent food quality and service.
