SUPERINTENDENT PIPING

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• EX CCC CANDIDATES CAN APPLY ONLY
• 10–15 years in piping construction, with at least 5 years in a Superintendent role.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Piping fabrication, erection, welding, hydro-testing, and commissioning. Familiarity with piping codes & standards (ASME B31.3, API, ASTM)

Responsibilities:

• The Piping Superintendent is responsible for supervising and overseeing all piping construction activities at site.
• This role ensures that piping works are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to project specifications, drawings, and Saudi Aramco/SABIC standards.
• Site Supervision & Execution Lead and supervise piping foremen, supervisors, and construction crews. Oversee fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning of piping systems.
• Ensure piping works are carried out as per IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings, isometrics, and specifications. Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials at site.
• Planning & Coordination Develop daily/weekly work schedules and ensure progress targets are met. Coordinate with engineering, quality, safety, and other construction disciplines.
• Attend site coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Quality Assurance & Safety Ensure compliance with project quality standards, codes (ASME, API, ASTM), and Saudi Aramco/SABIC requirements.
• Conduct inspections for welding, fit-up, hydro-testing, and alignments. Enforce HSE procedures and ensure safe working practices at site.
• Documentation & Reporting Maintain records of daily progress, manpower deployment, and equipment usage. Prepare daily/weekly progress reports for the Construction Manager/Project Manager. Verify as-built drawings and red-line markups.
• Leadership & Problem Solving Motivate and guide piping crews to achieve productivity and quality goals. Resolve technical and construction related issues at site.
• Liaise with subcontractors and ensure contractual obligations are met.
