PULP MOULDING PLANT MANAGER

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of five (5) years management or supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Packaging manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to analyse and troubleshoot mechanical & electrical issues on industrial machinery and equipment.
• Knowledgeable in pneumatics, hydraulics, motor controls and familiar with PLC, VFD, air compressors, three phase motors and gearboxes.
• Effective communicator with good inter-personal skills

Responsibilities:

• Manage the pulp moulding & paper shredding plants.
• It is the pulp moulding plant managers responsibility to ensure the processing facilities are supplied with quality packaging products and the farms are adequately supplied shredded paper for litter.
• Plan production in line with demand requirements.
• Audit production & maintenance work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Efficiently manage the pulp moulding and shredding plants. This includes allocation of staff duties and rosters as well as recruitment, appraisal, and training.
• Plan and implement R&M schedules for all equipment and machinery. This includes the mixers, forming machines, burners, air compressors, thermoforming, hot press, conveyors, and shredding equipment
