Arboriculturist Engineer

Qualifications:

  • Knowledgeable with design calculation, reports and comparison analysis of BOQ between previous and new quantity
  • Experience in cultivation and manage trees, hedgerows and shrubs.
  • Computer knowledge in MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint & ISO standard.
  • With Driver License (advantage)
  • Knowledgeable and experience in undertaken in both rural and urban settings and includes all aspects of felling, preserving, planting and protecting trees, sometimes using heavy equipment

Responsibilities:

  • Apply treatments such as pruning, spraying, and repairing damaged areas of the tree or shrub when needed.
  • Plant new trees with specific knowledge on root systems, soil health and how to maintain the tree properly.
  • Meeting with clients to discuss their landscaping needs.
  • Survey and assess older trees or shrubs and advise clients on the best way to avoid accidents if the tree were to fall down.
  • Testing and maintaining soil conditions.
  • Applying specialized tree fertilizers.
  • Applying pesticides if necessary.
  • Removing dead or unwanted trees.
