Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in a 4 to 5 star hotel or alternative of 2 contracts on a cruise ship
• Willing to undergo 4-6 months German language training

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications.
• Assist in planning menus, taking into account dietary restrictions and seasonal ingredients.
• Order, receive, and properly store food supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Utilize various cooking methods, including grilling, baking, sautéing, and frying.
• Ensure dishes are presented attractively and are garnished appropriately before serving.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations, following health and safety regulations.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, and fryers.
• Work closely with other kitchen staff and communicate effectively to ensure smooth service.
