Qualifications:

• Maximum age: 45 years old.
• Minimum 3 years of overseas work experience as a Welder or in a closely related welding and fabrication position.
• Strong experience in MIG/MAG welding, TIG welding, Stick/ARC welding, and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW).
• Experience in structural steel welding and pipe welding.
• Experience fabricating and welding steel components.
• Experience welding pipes, steel structures, equipment, and machinery.
• Experience with cutting, fitting, grinding, and preparation of metal components.
• Experience working on commercial construction, industrial, infrastructure, fabrication, or maintenance projects.
• Ability to read and interpret welding drawings, fabrication drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Ability to understand welding symbols, dimensions, measurements, and job specifications.
• Knowledge of different metals, welding processes, consumables, and welding equipment.
• Ability to select the appropriate welding process and equipment for different applications.
• Ability to perform visual inspection of completed welds and identify common welding defects.
• Experience with structural steel or heavy fabrication is an advantage.
• Experience with pressure pipe or process pipe welding is an advantage.
• Experience working with stainless steel and aluminium is an advantage.
• Ability to safely operate welding machines, cutting equipment, grinders, and other workshop tools.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
• Experience working at heights is an advantage.
• Experience working in confined spaces is an advantage.
• Relevant welding qualification, trade certificate, or welding certification is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills are essential.
• Must be willing and able to complete the IELTS.
• Must meet the required IELTS testing conditions and be willing and able to obtain an IELTS Overall Band Score of 4.0.
• Must have complete and verifiable employment documentation.
• Applicants must be currently residing in the Philippines throughout the application process.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG/MAG, TIG, Stick/ARC, and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) according to project and material requirements.
• Weld structural steel components, pipes, steel structures, equipment, machinery, and fabricated metal assemblies.
• Perform fabrication and welding of steel components according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Cut, fit, grind, prepare, and position metal components before welding.
• Read and interpret welding drawings, fabrication drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
• Interpret welding symbols, dimensions, measurements, and job requirements accurately.
• Select the appropriate welding process, equipment, consumables, and techniques for different applications.
• Set up and safely operate welding machines, cutting equipment, grinders, and other workshop tools.
• Perform visual inspection of completed welds and identify common welding defects.
• Make necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure welds meet required quality standards.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in safe and serviceable condition.
• Follow approved welding procedures, project specifications, and quality requirements.
• Comply with workplace health and safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
• Work safely at heights and in confined spaces when required and when properly authorized.
• Coordinate with fabricators, fitters, supervisors, engineers, and other trades to complete assigned work.
