Linda & Lydia Employment Agency (LLEA) is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Waiter / Waitress to join a professional hospitality team in Brunei. This opportunity is ideal for experienced food and beverage professionals with excellent customer service skills and a background in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field.

WAITER / WAITRESS

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Waiter / Waitress.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Graduate of Hotel and Restaurant Management (HRM), Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Good communication skills and a professional, friendly, and customer-focused attitude.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Reliable, well-groomed, organized, and capable of working effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests, provide menus, and assist customers with seating and dining requirements.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen or bar staff.
• Provide attentive and professional customer service throughout the dining experience.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and according to established restaurant standards.
• Explain menu items, ingredients, specials, and promotions to customers when requested.
• Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and respond promptly to their requests.
• Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and coordinate with supervisors when necessary.
• Prepare and arrange tables, dining areas, utensils, glassware, and other service items before and after service.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organization of dining and service areas.
• Process customer bills and payments accurately when required.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff, supervisors, and other restaurant personnel to ensure smooth service operations.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and company service standards.
• Assist with opening and closing duties and other restaurant operations as assigned.
• Perform other food and beverage service duties assigned by management.
