Vinod Patel and Company Limited is seeking qualified and experienced Visual Merchandisers – Home and Living for an overseas work opportunity in the Fiji Islands. The successful candidate will create attractive product displays, apply current visual merchandising trends, and help improve the overall shopping experience for customers.
Visual Merchandiser – Home and Living
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Working knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Creative, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Strong understanding of product presentation and retail display principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, store, and management teams.
- Good time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create attractive and engaging visual displays for home and living products.
- Arrange merchandise according to company guidelines, seasonal campaigns, promotions, and brand standards.
- Apply current visual merchandising trends and best practices to improve product presentation.
- Plan product layouts and displays to maximize customer interest and sales opportunities.
- Ensure products are properly positioned, organized, priced, and presented.
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing sales and display areas.
- Regularly update displays based on promotions, new products, seasonal campaigns, and changing customer preferences.
- Coordinate with sales and store teams to ensure effective implementation of merchandising plans.
- Monitor display performance and recommend improvements when necessary.
- Ensure promotional materials, signage, and product information are properly displayed.
- Maintain consistency in visual merchandising standards across assigned areas.
- Assist with inventory presentation and product replenishment when required.
- Keep informed about current retail and home-and-living merchandising trends.
- Prepare basic reports, presentations, and documentation using MS Office.
- Perform other merchandising duties assigned by management.
