Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Heavy Truck / Trailer Driver or related role.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Valid heavy vehicle driving license appropriate to assigned truck type.
- Experience in construction, oil & gas, logistics, infrastructure, or industrial transport is an advantage.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and load securing procedures.
- Overseas experience is preferred, but local experience is accepted.
- Must provide valid proof of experience such as Certificates of Employment (COE), licenses, or work records.
- Physically fit and capable of working in demanding driving and site conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Operate assigned heavy vehicle or truck type safely and efficiently according to job specialization and site requirements.
- Transport materials, equipment, fuel, water, waste, or construction supplies to designated project sites and facilities.
- Ensure proper loading, unloading, and secure fastening of cargo using approved tie-down and safety procedures.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness and safe operation.
- Follow assigned routes, schedules, and site instructions while complying with traffic laws and regulations.
- Assist in loading/unloading operations when required, ensuring proper handling of materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, deliveries, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition reports.
- Monitor vehicle performance and promptly report mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
- Ensure cleanliness and basic maintenance of assigned vehicle at all times.
- Follow all occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
