MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in facility maintenance, equipment maintenance, or a similar role.
- Experience maintaining kitchen equipment, refrigeration systems, and food processing machinery is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance skills.
- Knowledge of health, safety, sanitation, and food safety regulations applicable to food and beverage establishments.
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to maintenance issues.
- Must have a valid passport with at least 2 years and 6 months validity.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of dining areas, kitchens, restrooms, storage rooms, and other facility areas.
- Perform maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment, refrigeration systems, food processing machinery, and other food service equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out timely corrective repairs.
- Monitor the condition of facility systems and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize operational downtime.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with food safety regulations, health and sanitation standards, fire codes, and occupational safety requirements.
- Maintain maintenance logs, inspection reports, and service records.
- Coordinate with suppliers and external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance services when required.
- Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of tools and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
