Abaja Contracting Company is seeking experienced Transmission Line Technicians to support the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of high-voltage overhead transmission lines in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role involves working on transmission towers and monopoles of 230 kV and above, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electrical transmission networks.
Transmission Line Technician
Qualifications:
- Age 23 to 45 years old.
- Graduate of Technical-Vocational (TechVoc) courses; TESDA NC II certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in overhead transmission line construction or maintenance.
- Experience working on 230 kV and above transmission towers and monopoles.
- TRANSCO certification is preferred.
- Experience with the National Transmission Corporation (TRANSCO) or the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair high-voltage overhead transmission lines.
- Perform work on transmission towers, monopoles, insulators, conductors, and related hardware.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify defects and ensure system reliability.
- Assist in tower erection, stringing, sagging, and tensioning of conductors.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on transmission line facilities.
- Follow electrical safety procedures and transmission line maintenance standards.
- Operate tools and equipment required for transmission line construction and maintenance.
- Prepare maintenance reports and document completed work.
- Coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure timely project completion.
