Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience as a Tiler or in a similar construction role.
  • No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
  • Must have a valid passport with at least two (2) years validity.
  • Knowledge of tile installation methods, surface preparation, waterproofing, grouting, and finishing techniques.
  • Ability to read measurements and follow construction drawings or layout plans.
  • Skilled in using tile-cutting tools and installation equipment.
  • Physically fit, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a construction environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Measure and mark surfaces accurately to determine tile layout and ensure proper alignment.
  • Prepare walls and floors by cleaning, leveling, and applying waterproofing materials or surface treatments when required.
  • Cut, shape, and trim ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, and other tiles using hand tools and power equipment.
  • Install wall and floor tiles using the appropriate adhesives, mortars, and installation techniques.
  • Ensure tiles are properly aligned, spaced, and leveled to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Apply grout, seal joints, and clean finished tiled surfaces after installation.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
  • Repair or replace damaged tiles when necessary.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
  • Follow construction site safety procedures and company policies at all times.
