Job Vacancy: TIG WELDER

Impera SRO is seeking skilled and experienced TIG Welders to join its team in Slovakia. The successful candidates will be responsible for performing precision TIG welding on pipes and plates while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and industry standards. Applicants must be capable of interpreting technical drawings, following welding procedures, and producing high-quality welds with minimal defects.
TIG WELDER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience as a TIG Welder.
- No minimum educational attainment is required.
- Must possess a valid EN ISO 9606-1 (Method 141) welding certificate.
- Must be able to pass visual inspection and mechanical bend tests and/or radiographic (X-ray) examination demonstrating defect-free welds.
- Strong knowledge of TIG welding processes, welding techniques, and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, technical schematics, and measurement tolerances.
- Skilled in preparing tungsten electrodes, managing inert shielding gases, and using welding tools and protective equipment.
- Excellent manual dexterity, steady hands, and good hand-eye coordination.
- Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Willing to work in Slovakia and comply with company policies and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality TIG welding (Method 141) on pipes and plates for both Butt Welds (BW) and Fillet Welds (FW).
- Read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
- Prepare materials and welding equipment before welding operations.
- Perform self-inspection of completed welds to ensure they are free from defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut, and other imperfections.
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper handling of tungsten electrodes, inert shielding gases, and welding consumables.
- Comply with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations in accordance with Slovakian industrial standards.
- Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions and welding tolerances.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and production personnel to meet quality and production targets.
