TECHNICIAN – HEAVY MECHANIC

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in heavy mechanical or industrial maintenance.
• Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Engineering (Others) or a similar field.
• Male applicants are preferred.
• Experience in port, terminal, oil & gas, heavy engineering, heavy industrial, or logistics/production industries.
• Hands-on experience in maintenance or mechanical/electrical work on heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of cranes, trucks, and other industrial machinery.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair of all heavy equipment, including cranes, trucks, and other industrial machinery.
• Conduct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting for heavy machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify and resolve potential issues before they affect operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Follow all safety procedures and standards while handling heavy equipment.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to ensure minimal downtime of machinery.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.
