SUPPORT WORKER (RESIDENTIAL / CLEANER / HOUSEKEEPER)

Qualifications:

• Applicants with no work experience are welcome to apply.
• Must be a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
• Female applicants are preferred.
• Possession of a Housekeeping Certificate is preferred.
• Previous work experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar role is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping procedures, sanitation practices, and safe use of cleaning equipment is desirable.
• Physically fit and capable of performing routine cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
• Honest, dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain assigned residential areas, offices, or facilities to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors, carpets, and other surfaces.
• Dust, wipe, and disinfect furniture, fixtures, windows, doors, and frequently touched surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, dining areas, and common spaces.
• Empty trash bins, segregate waste properly, and dispose of garbage according to established procedures.
• Replenish cleaning materials, toiletries, and housekeeping supplies as needed.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and organize living spaces where required.
• Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas and report maintenance or repair issues to supervisors.
• Follow health, safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures at all times.
• Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly.
• Perform specialized cleaning tasks when assigned by supervisors.
• Maintain cleaning tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Provide courteous and professional service while respecting residents’ privacy and confidentiality.
• Perform other housekeeping and support duties assigned by management.
