Hoa Hiep Engineering Co., Ltd is seeking skilled Steel Structure Fitters to join its fabrication team in Vietnam. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting, assembling, and aligning structural steel components and industrial equipment based on engineering drawings and project specifications while ensuring high standards of quality, precision, and workplace safety.
STEEL STRUCTURE FITTER
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Steel Structure Fitter in Steel Structure Fabrication and Industrial Equipment Works.
- Strong ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Skilled in fitting, layout, alignment, and assembly of structural steel components.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and fabrication equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain dimensional accuracy and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a fabrication team.
Responsibilities:
- Fit, align, assemble, and install structural steel components and industrial equipment in accordance with approved fabrication drawings.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, layout plans, and technical specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Measure, mark, cut, position, and align steel materials using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Prepare steel components for welding, bolting, and final assembly while ensuring proper fit-up and dimensional accuracy.
- Inspect fabricated assemblies for alignment, tolerances, and quality before final welding or installation.
- Coordinate with welders, production personnel, supervisors, and quality control inspectors to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Follow company safety procedures and comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
